Embed Media - Insert youtube video not working -HIGH Impact!!

Description

Hi

I know there is already an issue for this that has been marked as completed but the new version of the 4.7.1 nightly builds does not fix it. Just tried the latest build and the embed media pop up works better but doesnt actually embed it in the tinymce editor. Save and publish gets rid of the youtube video.

Have attached screenshots of what I am seeing

In v4.7.1.1, wrapping the YouTube embed code in <p> tags seems to keep it from getting stripped out.

Embedding media using the built-in TinyMCE tool still doesn't work. It generates an <img> tag with some additional parameters corresponding to the video. These parameters get stripped out on save.

Now I copy all media plugin and plugin works but after publish iframes are removed. Fortunatelly after disabling Tidy (TidyEditorContent umbraco setting) all is working.

Unfortunately Tidy does't work from this moment. I think that it is very important for editors.

I have just copy new files from changeset 37ae31042cb0 but it is still not working. When I click Insert button then I can see only dialog reload but not embeded source.

You can fix it copying the \umbraco_client\tinymce3\plugins\media folder from Umbraco 4.7.0. Then you should use old youtube code (flash object code - alo available in youtube) by inserting it in new paragraph of text by Source tab of media plugin.

Same thing here, trying to paste som object code that gets translated into <img class="mceItemFlash" class="mceItemFlash"
data-mce-src="/umbraco_client/tinymce3/plugins/media/img/trans.gif"
height="100"
src="DOMAIN_NAME_HERE/umbraco_client/tinymce3/plugins/media/img/trans.gif"
title="&quot;src&quot;:null" width="100" />

This then gets strip by tidy and leavs an empty <p> tag...

I'm also seeing this in 4.7.1 (final). Not had time to look into it in detail but copying the media plug-in (umbraco_client\tinymce3\plugins\media) from 4.7.0 fixes it here.

It seems to be the fix for Work item 30205 that's broken it in 4.7.1 (I never had any issues in 4.7.0)

Have just upgraded to 4.7.1 and can confirm the behaviour is the same the videos are not being allowed in the editor.

As the image shows it doesnt insert the object tag at all in the editor. it just has the tags for text i put around the video.

Try wrap <object> by <p> and the save or publish.
