The Umbraco 4.6.1 (codename JUNO) release contains many new features focusing on an improved installation experience, a number of robust developer features, and contains nearly 200 bug fixes since the 4.5.2 release.

Important Note:
If you extract the files using Window's built in compression tool you will need to 'UNBLOCK' the ZIP file from the Properties Dialog before doing so. Otherwise your installation may not include all required files.

- Introduction of INode return type
- Introduction of IMacroEngine (interface is subject to change) for custom macro presentation engines
- Introduction of ILog interface and setting in umbracoSettings.config for easier integration with 3rd party log engines
- Default Data Editor Settings for Custom Data Types
- Upgraded User Control Wrapper to support custom settings and xml return types
- Upgrade of jQuery (in the back office)
- Upgrade of TinyMCE
- Polish of the new logout mechanism (a login modal instead of a js alert to ensure that you can continue work without loosing data (at least in most cases!))
- Support for Microsoft SQL CE 4.0 (CTP 2)
- Support for Microsoft Razor Syntax
- Automated Database Installation with WebPI (SQLExpress)
- Standardize on .NET 4.0
Asp.net 3.5 compatible release coming soon
Umbraco 4.6 is for .net 4.0 only. There will however be a .net 3.5 compatible release very soon

Best release ever, very stable, love the new installer, the polished UI and the new extension points for Macro engines and before I forget creating config for datatypes using the DataEditorSettings attribute is awesome.
